He is highly qualified polymer technologist. He obtained M.Tech in Polymer Science from Calcutta University in the year 1979. During his M.Tech. Course He did the project work on Styrenation of Phenolic body extracted (Acetone extract) from tea waste and comparative study with standard Styrenated phenol as non staining antioxidant on rubber. He also carried out a design of a batch reqctor for Di butyl Phthalate (1 Ton capacity). He has 23 yrs hands on industrial experience and occupied senior position like CEO, GM (Works), GM (Tech) etc. in reputed industries all over India.

During the tenure of his service with different rubber industries he has developed many products like

1. Rubber components for air brake equipments for Wagon, carriage & locomotive as per Wabco Spec. & air brake hose conforming to American Railway spec. M601-76 for Indian railways.
2. Wear resistant rubber & polyurethane (cast) liner & screen deck for material handling equipment like mechanical / electromagnetic feeder & vibratory screen.
3. Synthetic rubber gasket (Single & dual hardness) for PVC & ductile iron pipe being used in water/waste water industries conforming to UL/NSF & ASTM F 477-93 spec.
4. KITMELT Sheet (under seal/sound deadner) for automobile industries.
5. Double layer fuel tube based on NBR-PVC (inner tube ) & Hypalon (outer cover) for two-wheeler industries like Bajaj auto, Hero Honda etc.
6. Heat Shrinkage butyl sealant tape for DOT (Dept. of Telecommunication), air condition & refrigerator manufacturers etc.

He also did wonderful job in the field of cost reduction through value engineering, scrap utilization & productivity increase through process mechanization for different rubber industries.

Besides , he also implemented different quality system like ISO 9002, QS 9000, TPM during his tenure with different rubber industry.

He gave many technical presentation in reputed automobile industries (like Ashok Leyland, Eicher Motor related with basic rubber technology, specification layout of rubber product based on application, trouble shooting in rubber processing & practical interpretation of different testing carried out on rubber & plastics.

At IRMRA he orgnaised various technical programmes on basic Basic Rubber Technology / rubber products for automotive and industrial applications, processing technique and trouble shooting etc.
